We take responsibility for the personal data – such as name, address, email and phone number – you share with us via our website. We gather this information through the form ‘Quiz’ that you can fill in on our website and through your purchases in our webshop. Your personal data will be stored in the Netherlands. This will be in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Brond is not focused on activities for which the processing of sensitive personal data is necessary. Therefore, Brond requests you to not provide this type of data. Moreover, Brond has in no way the intention to collect personal data of website users who are minors, also not if they have parental or guardian consent. Unfortunately Brond cannot check the website user’s age and therefore kindly advises parents or guardians to be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data from minors to be processed by Brond.

2. Why is your personal data processed?

Brond processes your personal data to execute an agreement. We use the personal data you share with us to meet our promises and to deliver you an optimal service. This entails that we:

  • Keep track of your order in the order process
  • Use your personal information to communicate our interior advice for you
  • Send you an invoice and information regarding your order

In case of issues with the delivery of the service, we use your personal information to contact you. Beside aforementioned purposes, we do not use your personal information to send newsletters unless you have given us your explicit consent to do so.

Brond will not keep your personal data longer than the mandatory statutory period or, if such a mandatory statutory period does not apply, no longer than is strictly necessary for the realization of the objectives for which your personal data were obtained.

We shall not send, sell or exchange your personal data for marketing purposes outside of Brond’s services. Brond only shares your personal data with third parties to fulfil our obligations to you.

Payment provider

Brond uses payment provider Mollie for the processing of transactions. In accordance with GDPR your personal data will be shared with Mollie.  Google reCAPTCHA

On this website we use the reCAPTCHA function from Google. This function is merely used to differentiate whether input is carried out by a natural person or by mechanical and automated processing. The service includes sending the IP address and all other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. 5. Security of your personal data

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We have therefore taken various technical security measures to protect your data. We protect your data through the encrypted transfer of information via the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, whereby personal data is encrypted. This means that the information you share with us via our website is sent via a secure connection so that this data cannot be viewed by external parties. In addition, the website is secured and monitored for security threats by Sucuri (https://sucuri.net/). However, the way in which you connect to our website is your own responsibility. You must take all appropriate measures to protect your equipment and your data against virus attacks on the internet.

What is a cookie?

The information that Google collects is anonymised as much as possible.The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google states that it adheres to the Privacy Shield principles and is affiliated with the Privacy Shield program of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Brond’s website may contain links to other websites over which we have no influence. We do not accept any liability for the processing of personal data or for the content of these websites. This also applies to buttons that refer to social media channels such as Instagram and Pinterest. We have no influence on cookies that are placed via these buttons. Read the privacy statement of Instagram or Pinterest (which can change regularly) to read what they do with your (personal) data that they process via these cookies.

7. Your rights

You can always contact us if you want to know what data we have at our disposal. You have the right to view, correct, object, limit, transfer or delete the personal data that Brond processes, unless Brond cannot grant these rights based on a legal obligation. You also have the right to request written evidence of the personal information we have stored annually. As we want to ensure that this request originates from you, we may ask you to identify yourself adequately.

Right of complaint
